rayanne brennanRayanne Brennan, the principal of Brennan Communications, draws on an extensive background in communications to help clients throughout Atlantic Canada achieve their marketing and communications goals.

She managed the publication of three weekly newspapers, led internal and external communications for corporations and directed media relations for government leaders.

Rayanne now provides consultation, editorial and event planning services to government agencies, businesses and industry associations. She regularly contributes to industry websites and magazines and is editor-in-chief of The Atlantic Co-operator, the voice of the co-operative movement in Atlantic Canada. In addition, she is media relations coordinator for the Frye Festival, Canada’s only bilingual international literary festival which celebrates its 10th anniversary in April 2009.

Personal Profile

A socially-minded Canadian, Rayanne has shared her skills to support numerous not-for-profit organizations and charitable causes, including the organization of two multicultural festivals, the management of a Red Cross flood relief centre and the promotion of two cross-Atlantic cultural exchanges between Ireland and New Brunswick.

Rayanne is a trained public information specialist with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs’ Surge Capacity Section, based in Geneva, Switzerland. This stand-by roster supports United Nations’ efforts in the event of a humanitarian crisis or natural disaster.
